LL asked me to carefully hold Emma while she climbed up into bed. Bry told her she's going to be a great mom someday. LL plans to save her baby doll's clothes and give them to her real baby. It's so sweet to watch her take care of Emma!
LL's quotes:
- LL (to her baby doll): "Emma!!! Put your toe down!" Bry: "What's wrong with her toe?" LL: "It's in the air." Bry: "What's wrong with that?" LL: "It's her middle toe!"

- "I'm a tough cookie!"
- "Sponge Bob can do anything."
Reading together. As always, my favorite time of the day!

Emma went to dinner with us.
The girls.
She love, love, loves her baby!

About Us:
We began our foster journey in mid-August 2013. We finished our classes in October, had our home study in early January, and we were licensed on February 7, 2014. After seven calls from CPS, we received our first placement, a 7-year-old girl (our Little Lady, or LL for short) on April 3, 2014. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our journey through the craziness that is foster care. Most importantly, thanks for your prayers, love, and support. We hope to encourage fellow foster/adoptive parents as we document our ups and downs each day.
