Our Little Lady met with her therapist for the first time tonight. We knew we had to be home for the visit, so we decided to make it extra fun and make pizza instead of going out for pizza. Bry made homemade pizza and cookies and LL "helped." It was a delicious dinner!
It'll be really nice to have weekly visits with a professional therapist who can help us understand LL a little bit better and coach us on ways we can help her. LL enjoyed getting to know her, as she does most people. She doesn't stay a stranger for long. :)

LL's quotes:
- "That bird's head is in the dirt. I think he found a beaver."
- "I'm never too full for cookies."
- "Can I have a piece of your fluffy pizza?"
LL drew this for the therapist who visited our house for the first time today. I think it's adorable!
"What do you like, Ms. Julie? What does Mr. Brian like?" She was making a list of some of my answers. Not sure what her plans are.
I like how you've decorated the place, Cinderella. It's hard to see, but she's covered the majority of her mirror with stickers and decals.

About Us:
We began our foster journey in mid-August 2013. We finished our classes in October, had our home study in early January, and we were licensed on February 7, 2014. After seven calls from CPS, we received our first placement, a 7-year-old girl (our Little Lady, or LL for short) on April 3, 2014. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our journey through the craziness that is foster care. Most importantly, thanks for your prayers, love, and support. We hope to encourage fellow foster/adoptive parents as we document our ups and downs each day.
