Workin' hard or hardly workin'

LL's quotes:
- (On our way home from the mall) "I'm gonna take a little, tiny nap so I can be calm while I eat a little cookie at home."

LL and Kennedi always have so much fun together! This morning, they ate pancakes together while Nicole and I met some of our new families.

She was hard at work at my desk while I was cleaning out some files.

After we left my school, we drove to Bry's school to drop off donations from Jan. LL was practicing her ballet moves on the stage in the auditorium.

We walked through the whole mall and THIS was the only store she wanted to buy something from. She decided on a platinum blonde hair extension. Naturally.

Bry went to get groceries. We decided that was reason enough to do a photo shoot. Notice her new hair extension?

About Us:

We began our foster journey in mid-August 2013. We finished our classes in October, had our home study in early January, and we were licensed on February 7, 2014. After seven calls from CPS, we received our first placement, a 7-year-old girl (our Little Lady, or LL for short) on April 3, 2014. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our journey through the craziness that is foster care. Most importantly, thanks for your prayers, love, and support. We hope to encourage fellow foster/adoptive parents as we document our ups and downs each day.
