Day 3 was full of shopping, playing at the park and the adventure park, and walking around the farmer's market. It was a great day!
Our Little Lady has been with us for three months today, or 91 days. It has been quite a roller coaster, but I'm grateful that we've spent a quarter of a year with our part pterodactyl-part monkey. Love her!
LL's quotes:
- C: "What do you wanna be when you grow up?" LL: "I wanna nurse babies." C: "Umm I think you mean you want to be a baby nurse."
- (Whispering in my ear) "I wake up in the middle of the night and eat candy and vanilla wafers." (I'm 95% sure she's joking.) :/
C asked her what her favorite thing has been about our trip and she said it was playing at this park. Great. Wish I would've known. Could've saved about a grand. :)
We went shopping with Jan, C, and my Beanie Baby after playing at the park. LL found this chipmunk and yelled, "Look! I found a life-size Chubs!"
Just us.

About Us:
We began our foster journey in mid-August 2013. We finished our classes in October, had our home study in early January, and we were licensed on February 7, 2014. After seven calls from CPS, we received our first placement, a 7-year-old girl (our Little Lady, or LL for short) on April 3, 2014. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our journey through the craziness that is foster care. Most importantly, thanks for your prayers, love, and support. We hope to encourage fellow foster/adoptive parents as we document our ups and downs each day.
