19 more days. 12 more times to take her to school. 3 more weekends. And many hugs, tears, and goodbyes to follow.
We got some terrible news this evening about a close family friend. We can't share any details at this time.
My heart is so heavy for them. And even though we only have a matter of days left with our Little Lady, it's hard to feel sad about that when I consider the pains other people are enduring around me.
Praying this over them tonight. Over and over and over.
"If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath." (Psalm 34:18)
Here's to finding Him and learning how to breathe again.
